LANXESS, the specialty chemicals company, has been honored with the 2017 German Innovation Award for Climate and the Environment. Since the end of November 2017, specialty chemicals company LANXESS has started the operation of a pilot plant for the in situ production of the retanning agent X-Biomer in practice. LANXESS on course for record year post its third quarter
Global sales increased by 25.1 % or EUR 483 million to EUR 2.4 billion. A year earlier, they amounted to EUR 1.9 billion. EBITDA pre exceptionals improved by 35 % to EUR 347 million, compared with EUR 257 million in the prior-year quarter.
