MTW Welding Rectifier

MTW Welding Rectifier

Miraj Electrical & Mechanical Co Pvt Ltd offers a MTW Welding Rectifier, A/6 Series. Although the MTW rectifier always gives the exact current as set by its knob, an ammeter and voltmeter are provided to ensure the exact current and arc voltage. The set is provided with tripping system. If output welding cable short circuits, within 3 minutes the current comes to minimum, thereby saving energy and avoiding cable burning. The moment electrode is arced at the work place, an extra current surges into the electrode for prevention of freezing, as well as to start welding with deep penetration. This is very useful when welding is carried out at a distance of 100 mtr from the MTW rectifier and frequent current adjustments are to be made, as in case of pipeline welding of 6 GR position. The control is housed in a sturdy enclosure weighing only 200 gm. Standard cord is 25 mtr along with above remote control and 50/100 mtr available on demand. This is a facility to get additional current for short period for the hot start to remelt the craters from the previous electrode, avoiding slag inclusions. A push button is fitted along side of the remote control. The operator could obtain the extra current by simply pressing the push button. MTW A6-series of rectifiers are provided with change over switch from manual to TIG process to cut off initial surge facility which is not required for TIG process. The company also offers Controlled Arc Welding Rectifier, MRD Transductng , TIG Welding Machine, etc.
