Artech Labs manufactures scanners for use where temperatures of more than 6 points are to be monitored constantly. Applications that call for constant control of numerous set points along with alarms, both audio and visual, find this instrument specially useful. It can be utilised for controlling, indicating as well as providing audio alarms. Facilities like audio and/or visual alarms, latching or changeover contacts on the control outputs can also be provided. Provision for single manual stepping or automatic scanning from channel to channel is a standard feature. The scanning rate can be varied between 1 and 10 seconds per point. Individual red LED displays are provided for temperature and the numbers of channels being scanned. The numbers of channels available are 6, 8, 10, 12, 18, 24, 30 and multiple thereof. Cold junction compensation and open sensor indication are included in all instruments. Several temperature ranges from -200?C to 1,150?C are available for various inputs like J, K, R, S, T and RTD Pt- 100.
