Artech Instruments & Controls offers Universal Pyrometers, Model AUP-500. It is used for requirements of molten metal temperature measurement steel/ alloy steel plants. It is versatile, easy-to-use and can be switched for use with any thermocouple type (R, S, B or K) without any change of card or re-calibration. It also has the capability to store the last 190 readings for re-printing on standard 80 column printers. Computer communication by RS-232 and 4-20 mA outputs are standard features. It is compatible with remote display units. Being a microprocessor based unit it is highly reliable and requires very negligible maintenance.
