Artech Instruments & Controls offers a Fuel Efficiency Monitor, Model FEM-01. This is a convenient instrument designed to measure combustion efficiency of boilers, heaters, furnaces and burners. With proper use, this instrument can effectively reduce fuel consumption by 10 to 15%. The combustion gases are drawn through a specially designed probe and analysed for temperature and gas content. An alphanumeric LCD display gives the readings for oxygen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and temperature. The values of a combustion efficiency and excess air are also displayed. The instrument can be used with all gas oils and solid fuels. The instrument is easy to use with a user-friendly operational sequence. It is powered by rechargeable batteries and measures 200 x 100 x 55 mm. It is compact and sturdy and has a convenient carrying case.
