Stepper Motor Controller, Ssc-02

IDA offers SSC-02, a microprocessor-based stepper motor controller, which provides the user with 2 axes of step motor control-offers the user-flexibility, programmability and reliable position control. The SSC-02 can be programmed using the IDASTEP software package. Customization of the keypad helps OE customers to tune key assignments to their choice. In-built PLC functions include 16 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs for I/O and interlocking functions. The RS-485 serial port provides remote monitoring/programming flexibility-the user can use a PC to download his programs during trials. Multiple SSC-02 controllers can be cascaded permitting control/monitoring of multiple motors. The controller provides linear and circular interpolation. It has a powerful monitor program, which can be modified to suit individual customer requirements enabling easy customization of the system for OEM applications. The 32 kB battery backed RAM enables the user to download and store as many as 200 part programs, which can be called by the operator when required. A 2-row, 8-digit seven segment display along with membrane keypad is available for the user to provide man-machine interface.
