Backgauge Retrofit For Press Brakes & Shearing Machines, YANTRA III Interface Design Associates has launched the Yantra III Backgauge Retrofit for Press Brakes and Shearing Machines. The system is a high tech CNC system with control of servo motor for the backgauge and control of hydraulic cylinder for the ram. Ram control can be On/Off type or servo type (-10 to + 10 V), and the feedback of ram movement is taken from linear scale. The Yantra III is a rugged CNC controller which works in tough Indian workshop conditions. It does not require air-conditioning. With 256 KB of memory, the Yantra III can store up to 50 user programs, and hence is very useful for high volume production jobs of customers. The advantages of the retrofit package are: higher accuracy of length, bend angle and lesser operator fatigue.
