Testing machines

ETA Technology manufactures a variety of testing machines for automobile components such as ball joints, steering gears, steering columns, shock absorbers, clutch assembly, shift gears, etc. These include axial and radial elasticity measuring machines (including provision of plotting of hysterics curves) for ball joints, endurance testing machines for steering gears, steering columns, shift gears and clutch assemblies, load testing machines for shock absorbers, etc. Photograph shows a rack push pull testing machine for rack and pinion power steering gear for passenger cars. The rack is moved to and fro at a specific settable and a graph is plotted with actuating load against rack displacement. ATF at constant temperature, flow and pressure is circulated through the gear during testing.
