High capacity roll slitting and winding machine

These machines offer maximum flexibility when it comes to material and slitting width settings, as well as high performance with minimum set-up time and maximum roll quality. The universal slitter rewinding is shaftless on individual stations and with individual sensitive centre drives. Each winding station is equipped with an independently operating light contact roll. When the diameter is increases the winding stations are horizontally moved away from the contact roll. This ensures that the winding geometry remains constant during the whole winding process, which results in a perfect winding quality of the finished rolls. The winding tension and contact pressure is automatically controlled in dependence of roll diameter, speed and slitting width. The exact grouping of the rewind and slitting section as well as the internally made drive technique ensure optimal slitting and winding quality at high productivity.
