The 79th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) took place on 10 September 2025 at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), Bengaluru.
The 79th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) took place on 10 September 2025 at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), Bengaluru. Mohini Kelkar, Director – Business Development, Grind Master Machines Private Limited, has been elected President of IMTMA for the year 2025–2026. Vikram Salunke, Managing Director, Accurate Gauging & Instruments Pvt. Ltd, has been elected Vice President of IMTMA for the year 2025–2026. The new Executive Committee of IMTMA for 2025–2026 has also been constituted.
Founded in 1946, the Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) serves as the apex body of the machine tool industry in India. IMTMA’s membership includes more than 500 companies from both public and private sectors engaged in producing a wide variety of metal cutting and metal forming machines, accessories, cutting tools, and allied equipment.
The Association plays a vital role in driving the machine tool industry’s growth through policy advocacy, trade exhibitions, knowledge-sharing platforms, research publications, training, and skill development. IMTMA has also established the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre, a world-class green exhibition facility for hosting exhibitions, conferences, and corporate events.
