Cyclone Dust Collectors

Kushal Udhyog manufactures a range of abrasive blasting cabinets. The company a wide range of Cyclone Dust Collectors ranging from 500 cfm to 5000 cfm capacity. The main components consists heavy gauge steel sheet cyclone body, exhaust fan body with fan, electric fan motor, dust collectors housing with hinged door and sliding dustbins. Abrasive dust from blast room/blast cabinet enclosure or smoke with metallic dust from metal spray booths is sucked due to suction created by exhaust fan of cyclone dust collector. The fan is both statistically as well as dynamically balanced to get right performance. Due to centrifugal action in the cyclone body the heavier dust particles moves down and gets collected in dust bin located at the bottom of dust collectors housing. Accumulated dust from dustbin is periodically removed for disposal. Fine to very fine dust, which is lighter in weight, is exhausted out from the outlet of the exhaust fan body and is thus released free in the atmosphere. In case if the customer wishes to trap this dust also than option is available for a ‘Fabric Bag Housing’ (at extra cost), which consists of four free hanging fabric dust bags which are fitted on the outlet of the exhaust body. Size of bags depends upon the capacity of the cyclone dust collector. These are cheaper and maintenance free than other types of dust collectors. The collection efficiency is about 95 % for particles up to 25mm and up to 99% for particles up to 50 mm based on cyclone size and dust composition. These are available in three basic models, viz., KUCL – 3000/KUCL – 4000 and KUCL – 5000. Classification is done according to their cfm capacity.
