Mould Dehumidification System

Bry-Air mould dehumidification system of the MDS Series is said to be a perfect match for plastics moulding machine. Designed exclusively to prevent mould sweating, it ensures increased production through reduced cycle time. Typically, the chilled water used to reduce the cycle time of the job causes parts to be imperfect, structurally or cosmetically, thereby increasing scrap. The conventional method of connecting this condensation problem has been to raise the mould temperature thereby increasing the cycle time and decreasing production installation solution to a continuing problem. The Bry-Air MDS provides an attractive solution to blanket the mould surface with a constant supply of dehumidified air at an appropriate dewpoint below that of the mould surface. A chilled water precooling cost combined with the latest in desiccant technology ensures super dry air which can be conveyed to up to 3 moulding machines from a single dryer. This prevents mould condensation or injection moulding machine. The Bry-Air mould dehumidification system ensures shorter cycle times, and less scrap.
