Premier Polyfilms offers Electromat, a high voltage Insulating Mat, highly recommended for total safety of workmen from electrical shock when working in or around environment like high voltage panels, sub-station, power transformer rooms, LT and HT labs, near busbars, control panels, etc. The “Electromat†Insulating Mat – conforming to IS: 15652: 2006 – has superseded the rubber mats with IS: 5424 (old standard) as per Govt. of India Gazette notification No: SO 2086 dt 17 July, 2007. The mats are CPRI tested and certified. Features include: pastable type, permanently fixed, smooth trolley movement; moisture proof, fire retardant, no adverse effect of acids, alkalies, diesel and transformer oil; and recommended for safety of workers working on up to AC 66 kV and DC 240 V installations in all kinds of sub-stations operating HT, LT switchgears, control panels, transformer room, battery room, generator rooms and bus bar panels, etc. The typical features of Electromat make it substantially superior to competing products like rubber mats and other synthetic mats etc. also available in the market.
