Kali SRP offers Pick and Place systems technology, which can be used in innovative ways for machine loading/unloading. These modular systems can also be combined with rotary tables and feeding systems, to construct assembly systems. An example is Sneha, the automatic inspection unit used for an inspection line used for inspecting the electrical characteristic of a component. This system built with a 2-Gripper configuration Pick & Place system is integrated with an inspection line to increase the output from 400 units per hour to 600 units per hour. Sneha has a hopper into which the component (after the previous operation) is manually loaded, from which it is picked and placed onto an inspection head for inspection. In parallel, the second gripper of the Pick & Place system unloads the already inspected component onto a second hopper, from where it is taken out for further process. In case of failure during the inspection, the system gives a visual alarm for the operators attention. It is controlled by a microprocessor based control system.
