Turbine Oil Purifying Systems

While it is true that the concept of oil purification is not new and has existed since long in the form of filters, centrifuges, electrostatic cleaners, hydro cyclone, etc., all these technologies suffer operational and applicability limitations. Aspire systems boast of a wide range of operational applicability and are the only 'Combo Oil Purifiers’ in the world capable of removing solid particles, moisture, water and air contaminations from dirty and rejected oils deploying only one machine. Moreover, Aspire is one of the most versatile oil cleaning systems, which can be used for cleaning almost all industrial oils, of various applications and wide viscosity range (3 cst to 460 cst) to super-clean levels. The usage maybe offline or online as per cleaning requirement. Generally all turbines have OEM fitted centrifugal type oil cleaning system but they have a major limitation in dehydrating water from emulsified turbine oils. Water ingress is very common in steam and hydro turbines due to heat exchanger puncture, gland seal failures and intake of humid air through breathers. Thus it becomes mandatory to have a dedicated dehydration system, which can maintain zero PPM moisture at all times.
