This device is an all polymer construction which replaces diecast aluminium & MS components, and thereby reduces weight. It eliminates major machining requirements, fasteners, expensive corrosion protection coatings as well as reduces package strength requirements. It eases wiring installation as the ingress cover is designed to interlock seamlessly with the enclosure. Three cable entries allow versatile installations. Modular switch block can be replaced on installed site. Post usage, major component of switching device ie enclosure and ingress cover are totally recyclable. Gross weight reduction of 25% vis-à-vis conventional metal construction translates into significant savings on packing & freight costs.
