Jignesh Raval, an engineering graduate from Kolhapur, started his professional career with Ingersoll  Rand as senior engineer way back in 1992. During the initial journey of his career he worked at Menon & Menon, Faurecia and thereafter he got an opportunity to join Tenneco Automotive in 1997. He was given the responsibility for setting up greenfield project for Tenneco in Pune. With his vision, he built in best in class plan for Tenneco in Pune. He was heading the Pune Unit until 1999. Being passionate about the work he was promoted to Business Development Manager for Asia-Pacific responsible  for managing Thailand and China Market.

 

Being passionate for latest technology, he decided to quit his high-profile job and decided to start  his own enterprise, Sintercom. Sintered technology was lagging in India with no major suppliers in  India. He decided to start Sintercom with a vision to get latest technology to India. 

 

“Past journey of 20-25 years has been great learning experience as each year giving new learnings for  the making a better future. I could see lot of similarities in challenges we faced at setting up  Tenneco plant in Pune and getting its first order from the customer and that with setting up Sintercom  plant and convincing customers on adaptability of these new technologies. I wish to make Sintercom a   global company and my vision for Sintercom remains – No powertrain without Sintercom technologies.  I  will continue to develop technologies for a cleaner environment,” says Jignesh Raval.

In the year 2008, he founded Sintercom and started on development of various high strength structural  through sintered route. Today he can proudly say that he has made Sintercom one of the leading  sintered supplier in India catering to the leading auto OEM’s. Inspite of the various challenges being  faced by him during the 2008 global slowdown, he continued his focus on development of the company. At  Sintercom, he continues his vision of developing various new technological solutions to its customers.
