What is the company's history?

The company was founded in 1968 by three visionaries who were engineers and also the best of friends, namely Mr. M Seagate, Mr M Kriplani and Mr J S Janeja. Instead of continuing with the lucrative ancestral business of textile farming, they invested their intellect in the welding manufacturing sector of India. From voltage stabilizers they graduated to the designing of heavy industrial welding machines by collaborating with Mr V N Arora, who then became the cofounder with this integral contribution. Giotek Urja Usha has come a long way, winning trust and appreciation of its customers and clients across the world. What are the company's achievements?

How is the present business environment?

Currently, it is good time and we can expect it to continue in upward direction as the infrastructure sector is booming in India. Both India and China are great potential markets because of their respective rapid and aggressive urbanization. The welding sector has a very promising future in these two nations.

What are the future plans?

To further the business and acquire high end clients and deliver a customer delight service. Also, we will introduce our product line in more European markets. In India we are looking for 300-dealer target by this year end. God willing, we are confident to exceed our ambitions by far.
