In today’s modern times, many components & structures are made with combination of polymers & metal alloys. In service, such structures/components undergo impacts, shocks, jerks, vibrations and variations in pressure & temperature. So, adhesives used for such need to have more resilient & flexible in order to absorb such abuses when components & structures are in service.
PARBOND 919 and PARBOND 905 polyurethane (PU) adhesives are specifically designed & developed for such applications, in consideration to growing demand at market place. PARBOND PU adhesives are 2-component, 1:1 mix-ratio, room temperature cure, fast-setting adhesives and impart excellent adhesion to wide variety of substrates such as aluminium, stainless steel, carbon steel, ABS, PVC, plastic reinforced composites, wood, glass, concrete, thermoplastics, thermosetting plastics etc, without any use of primer.
With an elongation up to 200%, PARBOND PU adhesives provides balance of high peel strength, tensile strength, tear strength, di-electric strength and hardness with almost no shrinkage. Excellent thixotropic properties facilitate ease of application and also prevent sagging & dripping of sealant before & during curing, and hence, provide excellent adhesion with long lasting durability.
These tough-yet-flexible and chemical & water resistant PARBOND PU adhesives are available in various grades with varying functional cure-time, suiting to industry requirements and specific needs.
