The Indian Army has unveiled its first overhauled Armoured Recovery Vehicle (ARV) VT-72B at the 512 Army Base Workshop (ABW), Pune, on September 17, 2025. Airbornics Defence & Space Private Limited (ADSL), a subsidiary of JCBL Group, acted as the sole industry partner, marking a major milestone in defence–industry collaboration.

ADSL was tasked with overhauling the Utility Portion of the ARV VT-72B, which required dismantling the vehicle, replacing critical parts, and repairing or substituting Major Unit Assemblies (MUAs). The engineering team of the company worked alongside Army specialists at 512 ABW to guarantee accuracy and quality throughout the project.

Lt Gen Amardeep Singh Aujla, Master General Sustenance, praised the Corps of EME for their outstanding contribution and acknowledged JCBL Group and ADSL for their partnership with the Army in this initiative.

Rishi Aggarwal, Managing Director, JCBL Group, stated, “We are proud to collaborate with the Indian Army on the overhaul of the VT-72B. This partnership demonstrates our dedication to advancing India’s defence preparedness with top-class engineering capabilities and infrastructure.”
