IMTEX FORMING 2026 and concurrent shows Tooltech, Digital Manufacturing and Weldexpo (held in association with the Indian Institute of Welding), organised by the Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA), concluded on 25 January 2026 at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), Bengaluru.

Held from 21–25 January 2026, the five-day exhibition received an enthusiastic response from the manufacturing community. Larger than its previous edition, IMTEX FORMING 2026 showcased the latest technologies and trends in metal forming, including presses, bending, welding and joining, high-speed laser machines, robotics and automation in sheet metal working, additive manufacturing and related solutions.

Concurrent shows Tooltech, Digital Manufacturing and Weldexpo also drew positive responses. With digital manufacturing becoming integral to the forming and tooling industries, companies presented solutions in artificial intelligence, robotics and automation at the Digital Manufacturing show.

Parallel events included the i2 Academia Pavilion featuring 32 colleges and around 70 participants from 24 cities; the Manufacturing Technology Quiz Contest with around 50 participants from 11 colleges; and the Jagruti-IMTMA Youth Programme, aimed at encouraging students to pursue careers in machine tool and manufacturing technology.

Around 1,200 delegates from 272 organisations attended as trade delegations.

Moldex India and Fastenex, organised by Messe Stuttgart, along with the Symposium on Welding for a Greener Tomorrow organised by the Indian Institute of Welding, were co-located with IMTEX FORMING 2026.

The exhibition served as a platform to accelerate the adoption of digital transformation and high-productivity solutions in manufacturing.
