Mahindra Logistics Ltd, one of India’s leading integrated logistics providers, has inaugurated its advanced warehousing facility in Phaltan, Maharashtra, on 11 June 2025, further strengthening its footprint in one of the country’s fastest-growing industrial belts. Over 3 lakh sq. ft. of space is now operational in the first phase, dedicated exclusively to Cummins India—a top-tier power solutions firm—to streamline national operations by consolidating products from multiple origins at one centralised hub. This facility aims to enhance Cummins India’s logistics ecosystem by boosting supply chain efficiency, availability, and end-to-end visibility across Mahindra Logistics’ expansive integrated distribution network.
As Phaltan emerges as a prime logistics and manufacturing zone, this Integrated Logistics Centre is strategically situated near Pune with direct connectivity to vital highways and industrial regions. This development underlines Mahindra Logistics’ commitment to delivering complete logistics solutions—ranging from site selection and greenfield development to integrated manufacturing and distribution support. The centre will handle Cummins India’s inbound and outbound logistics, warehouse operations, last-mile delivery, and contribute to flexible manufacturing requirements. Mahindra Logistics’ agile and scalable solutions will strengthen operational control, elevate service quality, and reduce overall supply chain costs.
Constructed to align with Cummins India’s global sustainability benchmarks, the new warehouse operates on renewable energy and includes features like solar power systems and modern water recycling infrastructure. It is also expected to generate more than 500 local employment opportunities, supporting the regional economy.
