Strengthening its foothold in the Indian welding market, Kemppi India Pvt Ltd opened a new facility at Ingale Industrial Park in Pune - the most important automobile and manufacturing hub in India.
Strengthening its foothold in the Indian welding market, Kemppi India Pvt Ltd opened a new facility at Ingale Industrial Park in Pune - the most important automobile and manufacturing hub in India. The opening ceremony is held in the new facility on June 29, 2022. Kemppi has been running business in India for 11 years. The strategic decision to move from Chennai to Pune enables Kemppi to grow the business in India in the coming years. The new facility and its advanced demo area invites customers to welding training sessions and demos. Products are well displayed in the show room.
The team is excited about the new location and business opportunities there. The new facility is the base for all sales activities in India, also including marketing, warehouse, technical support and after sales service teams.
“The new facility, approximately 3,000 sq m, includes a show room where products are displayed. With a possibility to demonstrate live welding on our products, this investment shows our commitment for serving our customers in India and to support them in the long term,” said Ajay Trikha, Managing Director, Kemppi India Pvt Ltd.
Gerben Van den Berg, Vice President, Markets, added, “The official opening of our new sales entity, which is located closer to our customers, is a precious moment and marks the beginning of a new chapter in the life of Kemppi India. The Indian welding market is amongst the largest in the world, and I am excited about the opportunities it brings to Kemppi.”
