In 2022, India exported more than 5 million motorcycles to Latin America, totalling over $1 billion in value. The primary destinations for Indian motorcycle exports in Latin America include Mexico, Colombia, Guatemala, and Peru.

Additionally, Indian motorcycles are renowned for their reliability and durability, making them a preferred choice among consumers. Motorcycles are typically classified based on their engine capacity, and it's notable that motorcycles ranging from 50CC to 250CC dominate the exports to Latin America. According to publicly available statistics from the Ministry of Commerce and Industries, motorcycle exports to Latin America amounted to nearly $2.29 billion in FY 2022-2023 (April-March), followed by $2.52 billion in FY 2021-2022 and $1.78 billion in FY 2020-2021.
