Donaldson Company Inc (DCI), a leader in the global filtration market, has acquired a majority stake (88 per cent) in BOFA International Ltd, which designs, develops and manufactures fume extraction systems for a wide range of industrial air filtration applications, for approximately £ 79 million (about $ 105 million).

Headquartered in Poole (UK), the $ 40-million 

BOFA sells fume extraction systems to OEM customers, distributors and end users, and has recurring sales of replacement filters. Its fume extraction systems are used in laser, electronics, printing, 3D printing and dental applications.
