SiMa.ai, a pioneer in purpose-built hardware and software for Physical AI, has announced a strategic partnership with Kaynes Semicon Private Limited, a leading Indian company specialising in advanced semiconductor assembly and testing (OSAT), defence vision solutions and reference design manufacturing. The partnership aims to accelerate the development and deployment of next-generation Physical AI solutions in India and global markets.

As part of the collaboration, SiMa.ai will work with Kaynes Semicon to deliver Make in India electronic systems that support faster adoption of AI and machine learning solutions across industries including industrial automation, robotics, automotive, aerospace and defence.

Co-development for mission-critical Physical AI applications

SiMa.ai and Kaynes Semicon will jointly develop a portfolio of defence-focused AI solutions. By combining Kaynes Semicon’s advanced assembly and testing capabilities with SiMa.ai’s Physical AI technology, the companies aim to address mission-critical requirements for smart vision, robotics, surveillance and autonomous systems in defence and aerospace applications.

Kaynes Semicon will also design and manufacture production reference boards for SiMa.ai’s MLSoC platforms. These reference designs will enable customers and system integrators to rapidly evaluate and deploy SiMa.ai’s push-button AI inference technology at the edge. Through co-developed reference hardware and scalable manufacturing readiness, the partnership is expected to help customers transition from proof-of-concept to commercial deployment with greater speed and reliability.
