Conveyorised Sorting for FMCG Industry

Prodaid Engineers (P) Ltd has designed a system for Conveyorised Sorting for FMCG Industry. This is a refined system for efficient sorting of food products in bulk. It consists of one auto feeder with hopper and a twin belt conveyor with variable speed, made to meet ‘HACCP Standard’. There is an auto feeder that feeds the products to the twin belt conveyor with regulated quantity with single layer to enable manual sorting/inspection. Workers are seated along the length of the conveyor to sort/inspect one or two parameters and allow good material to pass on the central belt to be packed. The rejects/unwanted material is unloaded on to the narrow belt near to the operator, which moves separately to the rejects bin. The system is simple and reliable and requires as little as 150 W power at 230 V, single phase AC.
