Prodaid Engineers (P) Ltd, Bengaluru, has developed a Mezzanine Floor Conveyor. This is a simple, yet efficient material transfer arrangement for ‘unit loads’ to mezzanine floor, up to 10 feet height. It is ideal for transfer ‘unit loads’ in Cartons, plastic bags, crates, etc. The speed of handling is 20 to 40, units per minute, which requires 2 persons, one on ground floor and another on mezzanine floor. The arrangement consists of inclined conveyor, with anti-skid belt, mounted on castors and is driven by ½ HP geared motor. It is reversible to enable handling of unit loads to mezzanine floor, and vice versa. The system can be offered to carry unit load up to 30 kg, and belt width up to 400 mm, and length up to 10 mtr, and is operating on 230 V, single phase, AC supply. Optional loading and unloading roller conveyor can be offered for single person operation.
