Prodaid Engineers (P) Ltd has developed a Feeder for Auto Weighing and Packing, based on unit weight up to 20 to 25 kg capacity. The arrangement is suitable for packing products of automobile ancillaries, engineering, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, etc., industry. It consists of auxiliary hopper, bowl feeder for auto loading of components to the container kept on the load cell weighing and then to packing operation. Two operators are able to pack unit packages from 500 gm and up to 20 kg capacity, at the rate of 5-10 packages per minute till it is weighed (depending upon the quantity to be packed) sealed, serial numbered and transferred to pallets. The variation in the quantity to be packed can be set in the load cell very easily by any operator within few minutes. The system is very simple in construction and reliable and it requires only 250 VA power, using single-phase AC supply.
