Liquid Silicone Gasket

Axxon offers Liquid Silicone Gasket. This RTV silicone based Formed-In-Placed Gasket (FIPG) is used for automotive gasketing. This product confirms JIS-K-6820 and ASTM standards for liquid gasketing. The models available are 5699-G, 1673, 1673A/T and 1683.

Properties

• Semi fluid or viscous materials at room temperature
• Excellent resistance to high temperatures, oils & washing solutions
• Prevents leakage of oils, gaseous hydrocarbons and water under pressure at the joining surfaces
• Superior resistance to shock and vibration
• Cured seal remains flexible up to -60°C to +275°C
• Superior to the conventional solid type sheet gaskets in respect to performance and versatility
