Axxon brake shoe bonding adhesive has high strength to resist shear loads between the lining and the shoe or baking plate. The strength is maintained to very high temperature and severe chemical environments, so that the lining is firmly held under the severest working conditions. Axxon 230/7070 is widely used in the automotive industry for brake and clutches and in friction drive components of automotive transmission systems. The main advantage of Axxon 230/7070 is ease of design problems and cuts manufacturing cost by eliminating rivets there by reducing lining wastage and minimises the risk of damage during the vital reaction surfaces.
