PADDLE TYPE LEVEL SWITCH, LC-135

SBEM manufactures Paddle Type Level Switches, Series 135. It is a simple, modularly built reliable switch used for level control of wide variety of free flowing solids. It consists of a motor, which drives the paddle through a planetary gearbox arrangement. When level of solids reaches the rotating paddle, it tends to stall the latter. The resultant rise in torque is sensed and used to actuate a micro switch. When process level material falls below the paddle, the torque controlling spring pulls back the actuator releasing the micro switch resuming supply to the motor and starting rotation. Applications: cement, steel, ore, fertilisers, food grains, coal, sand, chips, etc. Features: specially designed motor which does not burn under locked rotor condition; specially designed PTFE lip seal to prevent ingress of dust particles into main enclosure; fixed/ adjustable shaft extensions to suit functional requirements; optional dust seal assembly for particles size less than 100 microns; optional air purging facility to prevent ingress of fine particles into gearbox and motor assembly; and optional high temperature stand-off for high working temperature..
