Wearresist offers maintenance solutions through rebuilding services (rebuilding of roller presses, VRM liners, crusher cones, etc), X'tralife composite wear plates, low thermal welding electrodes, protective coatings, X'tralife pastes, fusible powder, technical sprays and lots of other techniques. The company offers a range of welding alloys – among them, the Wear Protection, XL-BUS. General characteristics: special alloy formulation designed to produce hard coatings which resist “softening” at elevated temperature service combined with low co-efficient of friction; excellent weldability, the coatings will not gall, score or seize in service, ideal for applications involving metal to metal contact; deposits can be ground to close tolerances to a smooth, highly polished finish; for repairs – can be used on steels, stainless steels and cast irons; recommended uses include all applications where frictional and abrasive wear is prevalent; other applications include cams, screws, crane wheels and forging dies, etc. Technical data: hardness – first layer 32-35 HRC, second layer 35-38 HRC; dimensions – diameter (in mm) – welding current (in amps) – 3,15 – 70-100; 4,0 – 90-120.
