Speed Sensor

Protocontrol offers various types of Speed Sensors to sense speed. Models available are inductive type, magnetic pick-up, Hall effect sensors, gear tooth sensors, encoders and photoelectric sensors. Signal from speed sensor with further processing like speed indication (tachometer), zero speed, under speed, and over speed protection can be achieved. The indication can be in RPM, metres/min or any other as per requirement. Direction speed sensors are also available giving directional output. Inductive proximity switches are generally used for speed sensing of metallic parts. These switches are exclusively used on conveyors and its size M 6.5 to M 80 are offered having sensing range upto 50 mm.
