Process Indicating Instruments are specially designed for use in large process industries and manufacturing stations. These displays are suitable for monitoring process parameters like Flow, Temperature, Level, Speed, pH, etc. It accepts signal from field sensors and transmitters. The I/P can be 4-20 mA, mV or any other. The indication is in the form of 0 - 100 % or any other engineering unit like RPM, pressure in Bars, M / Min, Litres / Min and Tonnes etc. Alarm and trip outputs are also available if some control action is required. Setting is done with a potentiometer, for this set parameter is indicated when push button is pressed. Special care is taken while designing PCB to eliminate clumsy wiring. These indicators are wall mounted.
