Star Switchgears is a partnership company established in the year. The company has a dedicated team of technocrats and technicians, and is a leader in the field electrical panel building. It pioneered the 11 kV metering and switching stations using load break switches in 1990. The motor control centres have been made in various combinations either as individual motor starters or in grouped controls or with PLC controls. These are working satisfactorily in granite, steel, chemical, coffee and flour mill industries. Some of these panels have been exported also. The company’s speciality is in maintaining power factor above 0.95 at the motor control centre levels itself without APFC panels. The maximum rating of motor starter used is 400 HP, maximum number of motors in single automatic control centres is 250 and the maximum rating of the single MCC is 2500 kVA.
