Star Switchgears is a partnership company established in the year. The company has a dedicated team of technocrats and technicians, and is a leader in the field electrical panel building. It pioneered the 11 kV metering and switching stations using load break switches in 1990. Liquid rotor starters designed and supplied by the company are in use for more than 15 years satisfactorily in steel industries for motors up to 1200 HP. Some of these units are manual operation type while others are with motor operated automatic controls. Some of these have been exported too. The maximum rating is 1500 HP, automatic or manual.
