Star Switchgears is a partnership company established in the year. The company has a dedicated team of technocrats and technicians, and is a leader in the field electrical panel building. It pioneered the 11 kV metering and switching stations using load break switches in 1990. In an AC power system, it becomes necessary to improve the power factor close to unity, to save copper losses and achieve better system stability. The automatic power factor controllers or APFC panels designed by the company are working satisfactorily for the past 15 years. Though it does not recommend usage of capacitors in one bulk, the company has manufactured these panels up to 600 kVAR.
