GEE Limited set up its first welding electrode manufacturing plant in India with through a technical collaboration with a German company in the year 1969. Today, the company’s unmatched expertise in welding technology and metallurgy, driven by in-house R&D and global networking and documentation systems can solve welding problems however intricate they may be. It has now set up two green field plants doubling the production capacity to 13,200 tonnes. These plants, ISO 9001:2000 accredited by Det Norske Veritas, are fully integrated and are equipped with modern machinery and systems for production, packing and dispatch. The company offers Wires and Fluxes, Gee SAW Series.
- Different grades of submerged are welding wires – EL8, EM12K, EH14, EH10K, EA2, EA3, ER308L, ER347, ER316L, ER309L
- Wire flux combinations conforms to AWS/SFA 5.17 and 5.23 specifications
- Fluxes enable high speed welding, lower consumption of flux – about 1 to 1.1 per kg of wire – hence economical, different grades of fluxes suitable for a variety of applications – shipbuilding, pipe fabrication, welding of girders, beams, pressure vessels, storage tanks, etc
- Fluxes of different basicity – higher basicity fluxes used for pressure vessels where high impact properties at sub-zero temperatures are required, fluxes for welding of austenitic stainless steels such as AISI 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 347, etc
- Fluxes available for cladding applications, agglomerated fluxes supplied in 25 kg plastic drum packing
