Material Level Detector Switch

Protocontrol-make capacitive and infrared proximity switches can be used to sense the level of material in a hopper. The switch senses material and drives a relay. Infrared switches are immune to dust due to modified modulation circuit. The capacitive switch has a sensitivity adjustment trim pot, which nullifies the effect of small layer of dust or material on the switch. Capacitive proximity switches are used for level sensing of any solid, liquid or granules. Counting of plastic bags or pouches can be easily achieved.

Proximity switches can replace limit switches with many advantages like:
