Heavy Duty Limit Switch

Heavy Duty Limit Switch gives position feedback by operation of contact for use on heavy machines. These switches have been developed to meet the requirement of Extra Heavy Duty service as found in cranes, in mining, foundries, steel plants etc. where limit switches have to withstand high electrical and mechanical wear. The roller limit switch is used on cranes, stackers, and reclaimers to sense position and end of travel, etc. The heavy-duty roller and actuation mechanism makes it immune to impact of machinery. The bodies and covers are fabricated out of thick cast iron/Al enclosures, which are resistant to corrosion and rough handling.
Two types of actuation mechanism are offered: Stay put type – where the switch remains in actuated position and gets reset only when the lever is pushed back by operating mechanism, and Spring Return Type – where the roller regains its position when the operating mechanism goes away. The following models are available: HDLS 101 - Heavy Duty Limit Switch with 1 NO + 1 NC contact and HDLS 202 - Heavy Duty Limit Switch with 2 NO + 2 NC contact. All above Switch are field mounting having IP 65 enclosure, available in various enclosures materials to suite site conditions like C: Cast Aluminium, D: Corrosion resistance DMC / FRP, CI: Cast Iron, F: Flameproof. Optional Accessories are: TS: With terminal strip inside the switch; JB: With Separate Junction Box with terminal strip for ease of termination; CG: Cable gland; BP: Base plate.
