Anti-Collision Switch For Cranes

Anti-Collision Switch finds use on cranes having long travels like in stockyard. When two cranes move on the same rail, extra protection must be provided when they approach each other and enter the danger zone. The anti-collision switch prevents accidents of cranes. The switch works on the principle of infrared light. The modulated beam when gets reflected by approaching crane is detected and contacts are actuated. Sensing distance available is up to 5 metres in diffuse mode and 20 metres in retro reflective mode. Two set points alarm is generated for alarm and trip operation. The product is field mounting type as well as indoor mounting type.
