Universal Rail Mounted Distribution Blocks

Universal Rail Mounted Distribution Blocks from Elmex mainly find applications for power distribution in control circuits and can also be used to centralise earthing for the entire panel. Completely shrouded and universally rail mounted, they accommodate single input and multiple outputs. They replace conventional open bus bars offering a cost effective solution. Elmex distribution blocks are available in two types. Type DBK 1 x 2, 1 x 4, 1 x 8 has the facility to accommodate up to 50 sq mm wire size as input and 10 sq mm wire size as output. Type DBK 3, 4,...8 has the facility to accommodate 10 sq mm wire as input and output. Smaller version of Elmex distribution blocks type FDBKs have also been developed considering the requirement of instrumentation panel manufacturers. They are more compact and accommodate lower wire size, ie, 25 sq mm/4 sq mm wire size at input and 4 sq mm wire size at output but functionally exactly same as the distribution blocks type DBKS. Besides in grey colour, all types of distribution blocks are also available in suggestive colours like red, yellow, blue, black and even in green yellow combination for earthing. Number of ways can be increased by adding more terminals at the customers' end with the help of shorting links.
