This is a true RMS reading meter, which is a very convenient instrument to take measurements of power and energy in single-phase circuit directly and in 3-phase circuit by the 2 watt meter method. Other parameters measured include true power, apparent power, reactive power (up to 750 kW/kVA/kVAR), power factor, energy (kWh/kVAh/kVARh), current up to 1000 A peak and voltage up to 750 V RMS. Max/min record and data hold facilities are also available. Three-phase adopter is also supplied optionally. It is ideal for determining the power/energy consumed in any electrical system or individual equipments. With the above instrument it is possible to keep an eye on the power consumed, power factor, etc, and help in reducing the energy consumed by taking appropriate steps.
