Universal Testing Machine

The Zwick/Roell range includes Universal Testing Machines which are used for carrying out tensile, compression and bending tests with quasi-static stressing. Universal Testing Machines have table-top and floor standing designs, with various frames and drives, as well as versatile control units and a wide range of accessories for optimum efficiency giving total coverage for plastics and rubber testing. Two models are offered, one is Standard version - for simplicity and economy, another is Allround version - for maximum versatility. The Standard version is ideal for the user who has simple testing tasks which must be dealt with reliably and accurately. They get an economical, sturdy solution which fully covers their testing needs. The Allround version gives optimum versatility. It is the expandable basis for the user who has to deal with a broad spectrum of demanding testing tasks, with unknown future requirements. Zwick also offers different test devices for determination of the push-out force on blister packs or of the pull-off force of cover sealings. Testing of textile materials is mainly tensile tests on filament type specimen such as yarns, twisted threads and cords, or on flat structured specimens such as fleece, knitwear and fabrics.
