Carl Zeiss offers Integrated Roughness & Contour Instrument, TSK Surfcom 2000DX. This instrument is used to measure the roughness, waviness, and profile and contour of precision mechanical parts. The component family comprises of bearings, shafts, crankpins, fuel injection nozzles, etc. The machine has the following features: 100 mm X axis range; 10 mm Z axis using high precision inductive LVDT; 400 mm high speed column; 8 nano meter resolution of roughness pickup; variety of stylus suiting customers needs; protection mechanism; 100,000 point data collection ability; and CNC mode of operation to eliminate operator interference.
