Ultrasonic Level Transmitter

Ultrasonic Level Transmitter is used for continuous monitoring level of solids and liquids in tank or hopper without making physical contact. The sensor is fitted to the top of tank or hopper and faced down towards the material being measured. The transmitter transmits ultrasonic waves. These pulses travels to material and is reflected from the material being sensed to the sensor. Time taken to travel this distance is calculated and then converted to 4-20 mA DC analogue O/P. Local display of level can be provided within the transmitter or by separate field mounting indicators. Product with HART compatibility for further communication with DCS is available.
