Serial-to-GPRS Modem

Creative Micro Systems offers Serial-to-GPRS Modem. The CS-SER2WLis a wireless M2M gateway unit that provides connectivity for devices (traditionally communicating on a serial port) to communicate with a central server over GPRS / CDMA wireless networks. The device is typically used for remote data acquisition and/or remote device monitoring and control. The gateway comes in two flavours basic and advanced. The advanced model provides secure data communication with support for data encryption and VPN.
The product though generic in functionality has been specially designed to comply with the requirements of R-APDRP. Special requirements like in-built power supply for operating on three-phase power, etc have been incorporated into the product. The CS-SER2WL gateway has an in-built GPRS or CDMA modem (depending on order choice) for wireless connectivity.
