Castings, Lost Wax Process

Universal Technocast is a leading manufacturer of Lost Wax Process Castings (investment casting) having quality certification ISO 9001: 2000 TLJV SUD. The company takes up manufacturing of such castings according to drawings, specifications, materials and quantity details and samples provided by customers. Lost wax process castings contain wax pattern making, pattern inspection, tree assembly, dipping and stuccoing, de-waxing, metal pouring, laboratory analysis, knockout, fettling and final inspection. The company has installed state-of-the-art plant, equipment and machinery. The laboratory department is also fully equipped by the latest measuring instruments, physical testing instruments and chemical analysis by spectrometer and wet analysis lab. The plant has 2 crucibles of "Electrotherm" brand having capacity of 250 and 150 kg. The production capacity is 600 metric tonnes/annum and job handling capacity from few grams to 100 kg, single piece. The company can take up such casting in capacity of weight range from 3 gm to 70 kg per single piece component by metal/alloys such as stainless steel, alloy steel, alloys and many other ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It does such casting of ferrous metals specially SS of various grades such as CF8, CF8M, CF3, CF3M, CA15 and also carbon steel such as WCB and EN series, etc.
