Welding Alloys – Non-Ferrous, Xl-Bronze

Wearresist offers maintenance solutions through rebuilding services (rebuilding of roller presses, VRM liners, crusher cones, etc), X'tralife composite wear plates, low thermal welding electrodes, protective coatings, X'tralife pastes, fusible powder, technical sprays and lots of other techniques. The company offers a range of welding alloys – among them, the non-ferrous, XL-bronze. General characteristics: basic coated SMAW electrode depositing a special tin bronze; joining and surfacing Cu-Sn (bronze), Cu-Zn (brass) and Cu-Sn-Zn-Pb alloys; surfacing of cast irons or C-Mn steels; preheat at about 300ºC for thicknesses above 5 mm; and repair of pump impellers, skids, guides, slides, endless screws, valve seats, bearings, etc. Technical data: hardness of weldment approx – 105 HB; dimensions – size in mm-amps: 3.15 – 80-130; 4.0 – 105-155; and 5.0 – 115 – 190.
